The World’s Longest Table? Maybe. The World’s Happiest Table? Definitely!
In 2016, Cyclone Vardah rocked the Indian subcontinent and left behind destruction. But out of that, was born the most iconic aspect of the Hanu Reddy Raghava Farms. The 156ft long table, built of felled Casuarina and Eucalyptus wood, is a testament to the perseverance of the community after such a painful experience.
Conceptualised by Hanu Reddy Studios, on the farm, it epitomizes our philosophy to “Create Value from Waste”. It came together over two months, and now stands under a canopy of 60 year old mango trees. Today, we invite members from all walks of life to build stronger ties around this community table.
